The mistlet: a lethal trap for many species

THE MISTLET: A LETHAL TRAP FOR MANY SPECIES

Have you heard of mistletoe traps? Unfortunately we do.
Mistletoe is a plant that produces a highly sticky substance that goes by the same name.
Mistletoe traps are a technique used by individuals and companies to kill certain pest species, such as mice and other rodents or insects, but which frequently end up being fatal for many other species, both reptiles and mammals and birds.

The animals in question are trapped alive in this substance from which it is impossible to extricate themselves and end up dying in agony, malnutrition and pain. And in return, their predators suffer the same fate.

It is important to know the operation of the utensils used in our practices in order to be able to prevent and even avoid the unnecessary suffering of animals.

Three specimens fallen into mistletoe traps of different models.
