Anniversary of the Levante Peninsula Natural Park

The Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant will celebrate its 23rd anniversary with a special programme full of activities on Saturday 9 November at the Centre de s’Alqueria Vella d’Artà, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The day will begin with a guided tour of the park’s natural spaces, where participants will be able to explore the biodiversity and beauty of this protected environment.

The “Art de la Pauma” association will then organise a workshop on llata, a traditional craft in which participants will learn to work with palm leaves, a traditional technique.

There will also be an emotional release of wildlife by COFIB, in which some recovered animals will be returned to their natural habitat.

In addition, the storyteller Caterina Valriu, known for her ability to capture the imagination, will offer a storytelling session that promises to delight both children and adults.

To complement the celebration, on Friday 15 November, at the Teatre d’Artà, videos will be screened showing the history and daily life in the park, providing a unique opportunity to learn about conservation and life in this natural space.

Join the celebration and discover everything that the Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant has to offer!
